My name is Alba Domingo and I was born in Riudoms, where I’m currently based. I studied Illustration and Design and digital creation and I've been working as a full time freelance illustrator since 2018.

I have been longlisted at the World Illustration Awards for the illustrations in the book "Da Nuces Pueris", published by Peu de mosca. Recently, we also received the good news of being selected for the 2022 catalan Booksellers Prize with "Naïm", a youth novel that I illustrated for Piscina un petit oceà.

My work can be seen in many different fields, such as editorial, books or murals. I always approach my commissions by looking for an idea and transforming it into an image using a poetic style. On an aesthetic level I usually work on a mix of digital and analog technique. I always work in layers that I have previously created using mostly graphite, monotype or ink. Later, I assemble the layers and work the color digitally. Analog work allows me to achieve a more original style and a warmer feeling, but digital work is much more agile and flexible.
