I am a creature who is passionately and professionally dedicated to illustration and graphic design. A great curiosity to draw and learn about the unique beings that inhabit the natural world as well as discovering how wonderful and complex the human body is, led me to specialize in scientific illustration.
Seeking to inspire and teach young and adults alike, I apply all my creativity and scientific rigor to my projects. Always ready to get involved in commissions or projects that put my imagination and my hand to the test.
A creative creature, that works on illustrations and infographics for science visualization, to help professionals in the sector to promote and differentiate their projects.
I decided to explore my creative spirit by taking a Bachelor degree of Design at the University of Aveiro, which has a transversal approach, integrating graphic, product and strategic design.
My path takes me to Barcelona, practicing professionally as a senior graphic designer for more than 10 years.
Restless and trying to include illustration in many of my projects, I decided to refine my skills by taking several courses on advanced techniques.
I became aware of how important pictures are to make science reach all people, to inspire, explain, educate, care for, conserve ... which leads me to specialize in scientific illustration.
To do this, I draw with the guidance of researchers, educators and doctors, taking advantage of my inexhaustible patience to observe and draw every detail, using objectivity as the fundamental basis of my work.
To this day, I develop projects for infographics and medical scientific illustration at Homograma, a creative agency in the health and wellness sector.
As a freelancer I create illustrations for publications and books in different areas of science, with the desire to inspire children and adults alike.
