My name is José A. Pintado Baza, in the artistic field I sign as "Jos Melmoth", a name I adopted in my academic years. I was born in the city of Valladolid, where I began my academic career in Plastic Arts and Design, specialising in Illustration at the local Art School. Although Valladolid is my homeland and the place where I have lived for many years, nowadays my steps have led me to settle in the vibrant Barcelona.
After finishing my studies, my career path led me to the fascinating world of design in the fashion industry. There, for several years, I contributed my creativity and technical skills in the design department of a well-known company in the sector. Subsequently, the path led me to dive into the exciting world of graphic arts, where I was able to learn a lot about graphic procedures and finishes.
Throughout these years I have continued training to improve my skills in both classical drawing and digital illustration techniques. Although pencil on paper still attracts me, I have found in the digital world a versatile and dynamic means of expression that allows me to explore new creative paths and styles.
Currently, my main goal is to consolidate myself as a professional illustrator. I seek to transmit my passion for art and visual storytelling, building a solid and diverse portfolio that reflects my style and dedication to this exciting discipline.
