Hi! I’m Màriam, an illustrator and comic artist born in 1983 to a Tunisian dad and a Catalan mom. I graduated in Fine Arts at the UB (Universtitat de Barcelona) and went to Llotja Art School to specialize in illustration. I’ve worked with numerous national and international publishers illustrating a lot of albums, novels, textbooks, games, apps, articles and short stories in magazines, always trying to learn and grow in each project, emphasizing on diversity, tenderness and humor.

I was selected, along with some other colleagues, to represent the Catalan illustration scene at the Bologna Fair in 2017.

In 2020, my short story Un pla (A Plan) received the Cavall Fort Comic Award.
