I'm Luca, a 20-year-old artist, living in Barcelona but from Menorca and non-binary. Currently, I'm exploiting gender, exploring myself and exploring all the parameters of this broad concept that is "non-binarism".This whole feeling of flowing and not only being, but existing in fullness, is something that I often try to reflect in my works, the freedom to be unique, to be oneself. As for art, I am an illustrator and my artistic name is "disastro" which means disaster in Italian, and meaning from which it is of obvious deduction. As an artist, despite having a degree in illustration, since I was a child I have moved through all the artistic fields I can, I paint, I drew both in analogue and digital, I also write, poetry, texts, it calms me to put into words what I feel.I'm also fascinated by the whole world of image and sound, cinema... And music, I work based on music, whether playing an instrument, or listening to, and classifying the playlists for each task I have to do, not all songs are "all-terrain". All these aspects of art make me feel things that I don't know how to explain, a scene from a movie that sticks with me because of its aesthetic beauty, a verse from a song that I would love to have written myself, an illustration that leaves me paralyzed by what it transmits, or a melody that stirs me inside, and I channel all that into creating. Basically, art for me is something transversal, flowing sensibly between the fragility of the artistically disastrous.
